As Express Permits enters its 10th year of providing permit expediter services across the United States (and parts of Canada), our firm elected to attend the annual ICSC RECon convention in Las Vegas Nevada (May 23rd - May 25th). This convention boasts one of the largest Retail and land Development/Management expos in the World. This year’s attendance was estimated at over 37,000 visitors, members and exhibitors.
It was hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest conference centers available in the United States. It consisted of three different sections (North Hall, Central and South Halls). The North Hall had many exhibitors offering products and services from Steel Beams Sales & ADA Compliance to company’s offerings ways to rid your buildings of pesky birds and other nesting creatures. The Central and South Halls focused more on Developers, Real Estate Management and Retailers.
One of the highlights of the convention (other than seeing Celine Dion at Caesars Palace Colosseum) was meeting the officials and staff members from Dodge City & Ford County KS Development Corporation. I was fortunate enough to have a photo taken with two members of their staff (photo depicts Doc Holiday on Left, Steve Todd with Express Permits Middle & Miss Kitty on Right).
We would like to offer a big THANK YOU to all the staff at the ICSC for all the planning, hard work and professionalism this type of networking event requires. This was a fantastic event and we look forward to attending again in 2017!
