By typing in "Nashville Building Department contact information" into an internet search, you should be able to find a list of departments to contact. Departments will list the name, phone number and email address of each plan reviewer for each Department. Understanding the staff is overwhelmed with plans to review, we have found it much easier to correspond using email instead of reaching out by phone. This allows the staff more time to review plans of the people that are in person and respond emails in appropriate fashion. In addition, it also shows respect for the staff at the building department.
The tips listed above we have found to be beneficial in getting a faster response and review times. In our opinion, these suggestions may help conduct a quicker plan submittal.
